Joseph is the clinic director, and a practising physiotherapist. He graduated from the University of Toronto Physical Therapy Program in 1995. Speciality courses at the University of Toronto included Physical Therapy in Sports and Rheumatology. After successfully completing all licensing requirements with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, Joseph focused his practice in the area of musculoskeletal and sports injuries.

Joseph established the clinic in 1999. He is dedicated to ongoing learning, current practice trends, best practices, and clinical excellence. He has taken numerous post-graduate clinical courses and attends conferences regularly. He is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and sat on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association from 2008-2012.  He continues to be an strong advocate for physiotherapy and more broadly, for a strong, innovative, efficient, and accessible health care system.

Joseph believes in an active lifestyle and healthy living. Originally from Thunder Bay, he has lived in Ottawa since 1997 with his family.  He was a rower at the Thunder Bay Rowing Club and in 1988, selected as a youth to row for Ontario at the Canada Summer Games.  He also rowed at the varsity level at the University of Toronto.  He continues to exercise regularly by going to the gym, swimming, biking, and plays recreational sports in various community leagues.

Our clinic is conveniently located in downtown Ottawa.  Our model is low volume/high contact, meaning you will get plenty of one-on-one time with your clinician.  Our private treatment areas ensure privacy, respect dignity, and facilitate open dialogue with your clinician regarding your health.  Some equipment that we may use in your treatment might include Ultrasound, Interferential Current, TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), Acupuncture or Dry Needling, Hot or Cold Packs, Theraband or TheraTubing, Wobble Board, Exercise or Physio Balls.  We are strong proponents of education and exercise recognizing that these are an integral component of a treatment that continues outside the clinic and between appointments.
