Iris Loots, Physiotherapist
Iris graduated with her Masters of Physiotherapy from Queens University in 2014 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria. She is eager to continuously expand her physiotherapy toolbox and has taken continued education courses in level 2 manual therapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and a lower extremity certification course through the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute.
Iris has experience working in a variety of settings. Her hands-on approach aims to optimize quality of life in individuals with sports related, orthopaedic and neurological conditions.
Iris lives a very active lifestyle, cycling for both transportation and fitness. In addition, she competes in local triathlon races, participates in various running events, and enjoys volleyball, hiking, skating and other recreational sports.

Our private treatment areas ensure privacy, respect dignity, and facilitate open dialogue with your clinician regarding your health. Some equipment that we may use in your treatment might include Ultrasound, Interferential Current, TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), Acupuncture or Dry Needling, Hot or Cold Packs, Theraband or TheraTubing, Wobble Board, Exercise or Physio Balls. We are strong proponents of education and exercise recognizing that these are an integral component of a treatment that continues outside the clinic and between appointments.
