Dapne Mercado, Physiotherapist
The possibility of contributing so that people can feel their best is something that has always fascinated me.
I studied physiotherapy in Venezuela and after more than 13 years of experience in the field, my commitment to helping a person feel whole or overcoming a momentary or permanent health problem is stronger than ever.
Driven by the need to always give the best to my patients, I completed a Masters in Human Kinetics specializing in Biomechanics at the University of Ottawa. I have also completed continuing education studies in Global Postural Reeducation, Neuro-musculoskeletal Manual Therapy, Myofascial Induction, Craniosacral Therapy, Active Global Stretching, among others.
Musicians’ health has been of special interest to me since the beginning of my studies, and in 2018, I had the joy of participating in the creation of the Musician’s Wellness Center at the University of Ottawa.
I’m passionate about physiotherapy and I’m always looking to provide an optimal service to my patients that is tailored to their needs and goals.
Looking forward to meeting you!
